Work description

The Isle of Wight Council (\"the Authority\") invites Tenders from suitably qualified providers (\"Tenderers\") for the provision of Community Occupational Therapy (OT) Services on the Isle of Wight. The contracts are to run from1 May 2018 for a period of three (3) years with the option to extend for a further period of up to two (2) years at the sole discretion of the Authority. This tender is divided into two lots. Tenderers can bid for either or both lots. One Supplier will be appointed per lot. Lot 1 is the Community Occupational Therapy First Response and Low Level Support Service Lot 2 is the Community Occupational Therapy Services. The expected allocated budget per annum for Lot 1 is up to £180,000.00. The expected allocated budget per annum for Lot 2 is up to £320,000.00. The decision has been taken to disclose the annual budget for each service and ask that tenderers demonstrate how they can deliver the service within this budget allocation The Authority is unable to consider any submission that does not come within this figure; however, tenderers are able to submit under the allocated budget.

Additional information: The Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2000 which came into force on 1.1.2005 applies to the Council. If any tenderer considers that any information supplied is commercially sensitive/confidential, this should be highlighted and reasons given. A schedule is provided in ITT documents where tenderers can record and submit this information to the Council. In such cases the relevant material will, in response to FOI requests, be examined in light of exemptions provided for in this act. The contract shall be made in English and according to English Law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. Any values are indicative and are given for the whole contract period (including any possible extension period) and are for the maximum budget figure.
