National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (NAEI) 2025: Lot 2

Description

The NAEI is a long-running programme which has been responsible for producing the UK's Greenhouse Gas and Air Quality Pollutant Inventories in order to meet its domestic and international reporting obligations, to inform decision makers on the impact of policies on emissions, and to aid in the development of new policies to help the UK meet its long-term climate and air quality targets. The core delivery of the inventory products and outputs take place in the Lot 1 contract. The key activities of this Lot 2 contract include: - Assuring key products and plans arising from the Lot 1 NAEI. - Developing and delivering holistic assurance activities to look across the entire Inventory system. - Designing and maintaining an Inventory Improvement Strategy. - Creating improvement project specifications to be commissioned. - Delivering secretariat functions for GHG and AQ governance groups.
