Golden Lane Community Centre Refurbishment CFA

The City invites Tenders for the provision of refurbishment construction services for the Golden Lane community Centre, Fann Street, London EC1Y 0RN. The duration of the contract is 9 months, subject to the right of the Authority (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract by up to 3 months. The maximum length of the contract is therefore 12 months.

Refurbishment of the Grade II listed community centre at Golden Lane Estate. The two-storey building has a concrete frame construction along with additional steel beams and columns added to reinforce the ground floor. The refurbishment comprises of the following: I. Complete internal refurbishment of existing building II. Upgrading of existing single-glazed curtain walling and windows III. Replacement of existing building services IV. Upgrading the roof for pedestrian movement and siting of photovoltaic panels V. Replacement of windows to lanterns VI. Installation of plant to lower-ground floor plant area
