Work description
This is a Contract Award Notice.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has adopted the 70/20/10 model of learning delivery and as such drives to ensure that our learning management system managed by the CQC Academy has appropriate content to build self-awareness and support self-guided learning.
In order to achieve this, we need to ensure that we have sufficient learning resources available to support just in time self-directed learning and is reflective of how adult learners undertake development. Self-directed learning is a key component of our drive to become a learning organisation where individuals accept responsibility for their own learning. In order to support this and recognise the need to make available quality learning resources that support "just-in-time" learning, it is essential that our Learning Management System (LMS) has quality learning content available to both managers and individuals to support personal development.
Although not exclusively for managers the learning resources need to support the continuous development of our managers and leaders following delivery of our leadership programmes. We recognise that a significant population for this learning is our leaders and managers, however we also require learning resources that enable just in time development.
This procurement was undertaken following the Open procedure (below threshold).
Duration of Contract: Initial term is 24 months with an option to extend for up to 24 months.
