CWF Lot 1B Kendal Library Roof Phase 2

Description

The works are to include a full reroofing of the slate covering and the related timbers below. To also include renewing leadworks, making good joints to external rainwater goods and protecting troughs, minor repairs to the lantern glazing, and upgrading the thermal performance of the roof. Originally planned for Phase One, a section of external stone cornice is weathered and will need replacing. New hardwood dormer window to replace current, including new glazing and ironmongery. Plastering and painting work to be undertaken to restore damage from water ingress.
